July 31st Joachim Loof wins European Singles title for the 7th time
Germany's Joachim Loof won the European Singles title in the final against team maid Martin Klippel with 15-14, 4-15, 11-4. Marie-Josée Collet from France won in the Womens Singles Division. Check out all complete results on this website.

July 27th Germany is European Team Champion
Team Germany took home the European Mens Team Title in an exciting final against the team from Austria. Third place went to England who beat Ireland. Congratulations to all teams.

July 26th Semi Finals today
The semi finals of the 2005 European Team Competition will be held today between Ireland against Germany and England against Austria. The team final is scheduled to begin not before 16.15.

July 24th First round matches concluded
The first matches of the team competition have been concluded today. Check out the resuls page for more information on the men and women team competition standings.

July 23rd Opening Ceremony today
The 13th European Championships kick off today with the Opening Ceremony at the club in Hamburg, Barsbütteler Straße 43. 80 players from 10 countries will be represented through this week.

July 18th All entries published
Complete entries for the upcoming European Championships have been now published.

July 7th France will be represented
France will also be represented at this years' European Championships as two women will compete in the European Team Championships.

July 3rd National Teams published
The National Team members for men and women have now been published here. A complete list of all entries for the European Championhips will follow soon.

June 17th Netherlands to be the 8th team
The Netherlands have submitted their entries now to the local organizing committee. There will be a mens and womens team competing in the European Team Competition. Now, 8 mean and 3 women teams have confirmed for the upcoming Championships.

June 13th Team Belgium signed in
Belgium will also be present in the Mens Team Championships. Team Captain Niklaas Deboutte signed his team in today as the 7th team competing in this competition.

June 1st Austria and Poland will be represented again!
It is official now: Representatives from Austria and Poland will be competing at the 13th European Team Championships this July.

May 20th Swiss participation confirmed
Switzerland will be represented at this years European Championships. It is the first Swiss appearance since the 1999 European Championships in Bad Tölz, Germany.

May 11th Irish Trials for Junior Competitions
A selected number of Junior Athletes will take part in trials for inclusion in the junior team The trials will select three boys in each of the age brackets - Under 14, Under 16 & Under 18 and three girls at Under 18. The trials will be held in Kingscourt on Saturday 14th May beginning at 12 noon.

May 10th European Championships under the patronage of Hamburg's Mayor Ole von Beust
It has been confirmed today that the 2005 European Championships will be under the patronage of Hamburg's Mayor Ole von Beust.

April 30th Basic information about the European Championships's sent out to ERF members
The local organising committee has sent out all major information about the 3 European Championships's to the European Racquetball countries.

April 28th Special honor by the Minister of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany
The Minister of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Otto Schily, has honored the upcoming European Champiosnhips in Hamburg, Germany with a special Recognition for the Local Organising Committee.

April 24th Scotland to play in the European Team Event
Team Scotland will participate in the 13th European Championships coming up this July in Hamburg! 5 Scotish players will travel to Hamburg but have to leave on Wednesday again due to the lack of vacation days.
